Well as you can see I decided to change the layout of my LJ. Bordom is usually not my friend, but this turned out quite well.  I had already had the idea to use this color scheme on a skin for Invisionfree, and figured what the hell. The skin I ended up making is here.  This marks the 5th or 6th skin I've designed, and is not bad if I do say so myself. The background can be played with a bit to change the feel of it, as you can see by my LJ I changed the stripes to a pattern that I designed on ColorLovers. A site I have been addicted to since I began doing graphics.

It's been quite awhile since I posted on here. Unlike a lot of people I didn't abandon LJ... I just walked away from blogging for awhile. I am alive, and doing fairly well to those who care. I will be writing again, but it will probably take a bit before I post anything up. I wonder how many of my friends are still here.

Now the betaing and fine tuning and I'll have it posted on time, I feel as though the weight of the world has been lifted from my shoulders. Now I can turn my brain to other things, like finishing my 7spells and putting a dent in my 100quills challenges.

Well my exchange fic is being a bit difficult again. I'm trying to get it finished but it keeps wanting to change on me and I either have to roll with it and rework what I have or try and force it back to what I had originally planned. I hate this prompt. Never in all the time I've been writing have I ever had this much of a problem getting 1500 words onto a page. I'm not exactly happy with what I've written so far and it is sooooo not my best work, but hopefully I'll be able to finish it on time. I'm not going to sleep until this damn thing is done. I'm expecting the total length of the fic to be just about 1700 words or so. I think I've managed to give the person everything they asked for, although my angst filled original idea has flown out the window, due to my not feeling even the slightest bit Emo lately. Kanrin suggested 1500 words of porn and then click bang at the end... LOL as much as the idea appeals to me right now I just don't think I can do that. I'm praying that I can get it finished, beta'd and revised before friday. Wish me all the luck you can send... I'll probably be tearing my hair out in another hour or so.
